Ingredients

• 1.5 lbs ground beef

• 1 onion, chopped

• 1 packet taco seasoning

• 1/2 cup water

• 12 oz shredded cheddar cheese

• 6 large flour tortillas

• 1 cup sour cream

• 1 tomato, diced

• Fresh cilantro, chopped

• Cooking oil

Directions

• Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
• In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat. Drain any excess grease.
• Add chopped onion and cook until softened.
• Stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 5 minutes.
• Lay out tortillas on a clean surface. Sprinkle 1/6 of the cheese on each tortilla.
• Add 1/6 of the beef mixture on top of the cheese.
• Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll up tightly.
• Lightly grease a baking dish. Place burritos seam-side down in the dish.
• Sprinkle remaining cheese evenly over the burritos.
• Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
• Top with sour cream, diced tomatoes, and fresh cilantro.

Notes

• Add a layer of refried beans or rice to the tortillas before adding the beef mixture for added flavor and texture.
• For a spicier burrito, add diced jalapeños to the beef mixture.
• You can also grill the burritos in a skillet for a crispier tortilla.
